One day after Halloween and where do we go... the dentist. More specifically Kaela goes for dental surgery in Edmonton. What a way to celebrate. Originally they wanted her there yesterday but the inner-Mom in me said no way on Halloween so we opted for today. Poor kid still hasn't had a single bite of her loot yet but we have enough to last for two more Halloweens and then some.
Everything went not bad and I think it is almost harder on the parents then the kids. Watching your kid get put out under general anaesthetic is not for the weak at heart. Originally I thought we were having a pulpotomy done and a couple of fillings. Turns out we had 6 crowns put on. The kid has a mouth full of metal. After xrays and what not they can see alot more trouble spots an since she is under apparently this was the way to go.. especially for a kid that has a phobia of dentists. At this rate she should be good until she is 12. Thankfully we have coverage for the $2500 plus dental bill. No pictures but man she looks a bit rough. I do have more Halloween stuff to post when life slows down to a dull roar.

Awww Heather, I've thought of all of you several times today, wondering how things were going???
Totally agree about it being harder on the parents.....you must be exhausted!! Poor little Kaela...hope she is feeling better real soon!!!!
Hope K is feeling better...hate going to the dentist...Yuck!!!!
